License
Geek College publishes free guides and articles so knowledge is easier to find, share, and translate. Unless a page says otherwise, that material is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0.
What this means
Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International lets anyone copy, redistribute, remix, and build on our guides and articles — including for commercial use — as long as they give credit and license adaptations under the same terms. We chose share-alike so translated and improved versions stay open for the next person who needs them.
How to credit us
When you share or adapt our work, include the title, a link to the original page on geek.college, credit to Geek College and the named author when listed, and a note that the work is under CC BY-SA 4.0. If you changed the material, say so.
Example: Geek College (geek.college) — CC BY-SA 4.0
What is covered
This license applies to guides, articles, phrase cards, and other educational text we publish on geek.college, unless a specific page says otherwise.
What is not covered
CC BY-SA 4.0 does not automatically cover everything you see on the site. In particular:
- Software and source code — the codebase, interactive tools, and scripts that run geek.college
- Graphical design — layout, typography, color systems, icons, and other visual elements that make up the site
- Photographs and illustrations — images may be ours, licensed from stock or creators, or used under separate permission
These materials may come from other sources and may not be under CC BY-SA 4.0. Third-party trademarks, logos, and our domain name and brand marks are also not covered beyond normal attribution when you credit our text.
If you want to reuse code, design, or images from the site, check the page or contact us at geekcollege@proton.me before doing so.
