Diagnosis & Early Intervention
Diagnosis — Children (0–5)
Diagnosis through pediatrician referral to developmental pediatrician or child psychologist. Alberta Health Services provides assessments.
Expect wait times of roughly 3-8 months for specialist assessment in Calgary/Edmonton. Longer in rural areas. for a specialist evaluation.
